Try Some of Boston’s Best Breweries

Boston Seaport Brewery

Boston is known for quite a few things; its rich history, green and blue spaces, and beer.

Beer is the drink of choice for the state, with over 130 breweries spread across the state and islands. A large concentration of these breweries is in the city where you can find one-of-a-kind craft beers, classic lagers, and small-batch brews while enjoying city views.

Here are a few of our favorite Seaport breweries that are sure to quench your thirst along with a few things you shouldn’t miss during your stop.

Things To Do At Cisco Brewers

Founded in 1995, Cisco Brewers started as Nantucket’s first (and is still the only) craft brewery on the island. The brewery prides itself on its selection of seasonal and coastally-inspired beers.

Now, the small-island brewery has a few locations in New England, including a seasonal pop-up beer garden in Boston’s vibrant and bustling Seaport District. The outdoor beer garden is ideal for soaking in waterfront views while enjoying the laid-back vibes the brewery is known for with a cold brew. The brewery’s extensive portfolio of beers ensures there’s something everyone will enjoy.

And if you want to switch things up, the brewery also offers hard ciders, wines, frosé, and coolers. Cisco Brewers does not accept reservations, seating is on a first-come/first-serve basis.

Things To Do At Harpoon Brewery

Harpoon Brewery and Beer Garden is a staple in the district and is located near many Seaport hotels in the area. Along with its wide selection of classic and seasonal craft beers, Harpoon is known for hosting many weekly, seasonal, and annual events.

A summer food pop-up series is perfect to grab a bite while you enjoy a cold beer while markets on the property mean you can browse local artisan goods as you drink. However, the most well-known events at Harpoon only happen once a year. Harpoonfest and Octoberfest are just two of the many festivals the brewery hosts and shouldn’t be missed if you’re around. Just make sure to purchase tickets prior to the event to ensure admission.

Things To Do At Trillium in Seaport

Located conveniently in Fort Point, Trillium is a New-England Farmhouse-inspired experience for craft beer enthusiasts. Launched by three employees and supported by an entire community, the brewery now boasts a team of over 300 people and a few locations in the state.

However, Trillium is more than just a brewery, it’s about a way of life and building a community with which to share experiences. You’ll find a variety of brews inspired by New England and local ingredients. They work closely with more than 30 local vendors to also provide food that pairs perfectly with their beers.

Make sure to take a pack of your favorite home at the end of your stay!
